Musical Theatre Dance Intensive at Camp Cyclone
Calling all Musical Theatre lovers! Join us for a half-day camp where you’ll learn all the group dance numbers in a Musical Theatre show. Campers will up their skills by dancing in an ensemble, mastering choreography, and getting a head start on the dances featured in Camp Cyclone's Musical Theatre Intensive, offered the very next weeks! This camp is perfect for dancers who want to feel ready to shine before show rehearsals begin, actors looking to sharpen their dance skills, or campers who love to dance but aren’t quite ready to commit to the full Intensive yet. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to build confidence, connect with other performers, and have a blast on the dance floor!

Lights, camera, action! Spotlight Kids with Miss Simone returns for another fun-filled adventure on the stage! Campers will sing, dance, and act on stage in a short musical about Pirates, Mermaids, and Creatures of the Deep. Come one, come all; actors and actresses of all experience levels are encouraged!
Note: Please plan to join us for your camper’s final performance on the Friday of this camp session at 3 pm.

Lights, camera, action! Spotlight Kids with Miss Simone returns for another fun-filled adventure on the stage! Campers will sing, dance, and act on stage in a short musical about Superheroes and their hidden special talents. This Spotlight Kids performance features group-spoken lines, lots of teamwork, and chances for campers to showcase their individual talents, too - perfect for performers of any comfort level on the stage!

Welcome to the whimsical world of "Character, Comic, and Cartoon Drawing" camp – a magical journey for aspiring young artists! Campers will use graphite, charcoal, colored pencils, and markers to compose their creations. Campers will dream and draw up their own characters complete with emotion, costume, and settings; draw, write, and color comic strips, and work together to create a cartoon version of our summer camp classroom. No drawing or art experience is necessary, all levels are welcome!
Ages 7-10
Time: 1 pm - 4 pm

Level up with Choreography Creations. It’s time for your movers and dancers to put on their creative hats and make their own dances and dance moves. Miss Simone will lead campers through mind-mapping their dance ideas and introducing them to new choreographic devices and dance types. From there, they will work in small groups to create their very own special dance performance.
Ages 8-12
